One of our biggest needs is having a place for pets that are coming directly from the shelter to hang out for a few weeks so that they can be monitored for anything that may require medical care (that the shelter staff may not have noticed) while they decompress from being in such a stressful environment.

Becoming a 14-day foster is a short-term way to make a drastic difference in the life of an orphaned pet.

When we have a commitment from a 14-day foster, we ask that you commit to keeping the pet for the entire 14 days because we are making a decision to rescue the pet from the shelter based on the commitment from you.

We provide everything you need, including food, supplies, support and medical care.

After the 14 days, if the pet is healthy, he or she will be accepted into the Center.  If further recovery time is needed, we may ask to extend their stay with you, but your commitment is over after the 14 days.
